Mitrovicë, 3 January 2019

Based on the analytic assessments on the periodical reports during 2018, in the responsibility area of the Regional Directorate in Mitrovica, the year 2018 has decreased significantly on the overall number of criminal cases and incidents.

    The decrease of cases in general results the efficiency and coordination between the units of various sectors.
 
    While, regarding criminal offences, in 2018 we have no murder case in the Regional Directorate of Mitrovica. This result reflects on the continuous engagement of police and measures undertaken in prevention of criminal offences.

Regional Directorate of Mitrovica, uses this opportunity to thank all the citizens for a mutual cooperation and raising awareness, which reflected that during 2018 to not have murder cases. Such a cooperation shall remain our common journey with citizens even in the future.

The Regional Police Directorate in Mitrovica remains committed with the everyday engagements in the field of prevention and reaction in providing safety and public peace.
