WORKING EXPERIENCE
After graduation in Police academy in 1972, his police carrier started in Prishtina.
His Diplomatic abilities identified very soon, where 1973-1975, he was sent to Yugoslavian Embassy in Belgium to work as officer for Police and Security.
After accomplishment of High School in Beligrade in 1977 he was appointed as Deputy Commander for Traffic in Regions: Pristhine, Ferizaj, Mitrovice and Gjilane.
In October 1981 he was appointed as Chief of Police Directorate in Skenderaj being responsible for this position more than 13 months. At that time, Skenderaj Municiaplity appointed him to be responsible for that Directorate for Police and Civilian issues (passports/ID, Driving Licenses, Birth Certificates).
At the end of 1982 he was appointed as Chief of Traffic Police for whole Kosovo.
On 1988 he was appointed as General Chief of Kosovo Police being responsible for leading position until 15 July 1990. At that time, Serbian regime dismissed many police officers from Kosovo Police, involving him too.
Afterwards, along with many dismissed Police Officers they were sent to Detention by Serbian Authorities on 1994 keeping them in Prishitna Detention. 1995 Serbian Court charged him with 6.5 yrs of Detention. During his detention he was transferred from Prishtina Detention to Lipjane and Dubrava. 1998 he was transferred to Nis Detention.
During 1999, during NATO bombing he was again sent to Dubrava Prison. Later, during June 1999 he was transferred to Sremska Mitrovica Prison (in Vojvodina).
After his stay in prison for 5 years, one day he was released.
After he was released from Prison, Temporary Government of that time ordered to create project for establishment of Kosovo Police Service.
On 05 October 2000, after accomplishment of Police Academy in Vushtrri, by Decision of Kosovo Transitional Council and with approval of Police Commissioner Mr. Sven Frederiksen he was appointed as Advisor to the Police Commissioner for KPS issues. He was working at this post with 4 Police Commissioners
MEDAL AWARDS:
- He was awarded with “Praestabilis” medal in 2002 by Police Commissioner Christopher Albiston (this medal is given to police officer who consistently has role in serving to the Kosovo Police Service for long period of time).
