With the approval of the former Commissioner Feller and the support of the present Commissioner Kai Vittrup the Kosovo Police Service Syndicate has been established.

The establishment of the syndicate proceeded with six months systematic work in forming primary initiative councils from basic level till the central one.

Meetings were held in stations/ units where leaders and delegated were selected for the Regional assembly and then there has been a constitution of Regional assemblies where leaders of Regional associations were selected as well as the General Assembly that is constituted on 08 July 2005, and the selection of the president, deputy president, and the secretary was done by secret voting.

 For the president of the KPS Syndicate was chosen Mrs. Valbona Kamberi. The syndicate has an efficient cooperation   with the present Police Commissioner.
