Policia e Kosovës arreston dy të dyshuar për keqpërdorim të pozitës apo autoritetit zyrtar
Prishtinë, më 15 janar 2026
Policia e Kosovës, respektivisht Drejtoria për Hetimin e Krimeve Ekonomike dhe Korrupsionit (DHKEK) në Gjilan, gjatë zhvillimit të hetimeve në koordinim të plotë me prokurorinë kompetente ka siguruar prova të besueshme dhe të dhëna zyrtare për përfshirje të dy personave të dyshuar në veprën penale “Keqpërdorim i pozitës apo autoritetit zyrtar”.
Sipas veprimeve të ndërmarra dhe provave të siguruara dyshohet se i dyshuari mashkull kosovar i caktuar si bibliotekist në një shkollë, me kontratë pune për kohë të pacaktuar, për një periudhë kohore nuk është paraqitur në vendin e punës, në ndërkohë që ka përfituar paga mujore nga buxheti i Republikës së Kosovës.
Në periudhën kohore prej vitit 2023 e deri në Tetor të vitit 2025, i dyshuari i lartcekur ka dëmtuar buxhetin në vlerë prej 19,067.69 euro, me ç ‘rast ka shkaktuar veprën penale të “Keqpërdorim i pozitës apo autoritetit zyrtar” i KPRK-së.
Ndërsa i dyshuari i dytë mashkull kosovar, në cilësinë e personit zyrtar, nuk ka raportuar mungesën e të dyshuarit në punë pranë autoriteteve kompetente, duke mundësuar kështu vazhdimin e pagesave pa bazë ligjore, me ç ‘rast i njëjti po ashtu ka shkaktuar veprën penale “Keqpërdorim i pozitës apo autoritetit zyrtar”.
Të dy të dyshuarit e lartcekur janë intervistuar në prezencën e avokatëve dhe me vendim të prokurorit janë ndaluar për 48 orë.

Kosovo Police arrests two suspects on abuse of the office or official authority
Prishtina, 15th of January 2026
The Kosovo Police, namely the Directorate for the Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption (DHKEK) in Gjilan, during the conduct of investigations in full coordination with the competent prosecution office, has secured reliable evidence and official data for the involvement of two suspects in the criminal offense of “Abuse of office or authority”.
According to the actions taken and the evidence obtained, it is suspected that the Kosovar male suspect, assigned as a librarian in a school, with an indefinite employment contract, has not shown up at work for a period of time, while receiving monthly salaries from the budget of the Republic of Kosovo.
In the period from 2023 to October 2025, the aforementioned suspect has damaged the budget in the amount of 19,067.69 euros, in which case he has caused the criminal offense of “Abuse of official position or authority” of the Criminal Code of Kosovo.
While the second Kosovar male suspect, in his capacity as an official, did not report the suspect’s absence from work to the competent authorities, thus enabling the continuation of payments without legal basis, in which case he also caused the criminal offense of “Abuse of official position or authority”.
Both of the aforementioned suspects were interviewed in the presence of lawyers and, by decision of the prosecutor, were detained for 48 hours.
