Maintaining public peace and order, a priority for Kosovo Police

Kosovo Police, recognizing the right to public gatherings through peaceful protest, according to official duties, today as well are maintaining public order and peace, as well as performing its duties defined by the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo and the legislation in power.
In cooperation with KFOR and the relevant institutions, KP is continuing with police engagements in implementing public peace and order, providing security to citizens, ensuring freedom of free movement as well as undertaking police measures based on the situation and developments in the municipalities of Leposavic, Zveçan and Zubin Potok, where protests continue even today.
Kosovo Police will continue its commitment and dedication in providing security to all citizens regardless and invites citizens to pay increased attention and caution, to protest peacefully and to not fall prey to possible provocations of whatever nature they may be.
