The Kosovo Police (KP), in the fight against organized crime through special police operations, carried out by the Directorate against Organized Crime and Serious Crimes, regional investigations in Peja and in support of other relevant units, in coordination with the Basic Prosecution Office in Peja, today on 23.07.2025, has carried out a police operation, in which it has arrested 4 suspects in the act related with the criminal offense of ‘coercion’.
The suspects in this case, through various forms of intimidation, have prevented the victim from possessing and actually using his property.
In order to allow the victim to use his legally purchased property, they have forced him to act against his property, namely by forcing him to pay the amount of 30,000 thousand euros, so that the victim is allowed to actually possess the property.
The suspects, after being interviewed, are detained for 48 hours by a decision of the prosecutor from the Basic Prosecution Office of Peja.
Kosovo Police remains committed to preventing and combating criminal acts, especially organized crime, and bringing suspects to justice.
