A person suspected of possessing cocaine was arrested in Prizren; the Kosovo Police’s anti-drug unit seizes drugs worth around 300 thousand euros

The Kosovo Police, specifically the investigators of the Regional Unit for the Investigation of Narcotics Trafficking in Prizren, in cooperation with the Basic Prosecution Office in Prizren, have undertaken successful operational actions that have resulted in the arrest of a person suspected of involvement in criminal activity related to narcotic substances.
On August 11, 2025, on “William Woker” street in Prizren, the suspect with the initials H.K. (1994) a citizen of the Republic of Kosovo was arrested.
During the search carried out in two locations by the order of the competent prosecutor, in one of the locations the following were found and seized as material evidence:
• Suspected narcotic substance of cocaine type, with a total weight of 4 kg and 440 grams;
• Two (2) electronic scales;
• Cash in amount of 260 euros;
• One (1) device for vacuuming plastic bags;
• One (1) PIAGGIO VESPA motorcycle;
• One (1) iPhone 15 Pro Max mobile phone;
• One (1) scalper;
• A considerable amount of plastic bags for packaging.
According to estimates, the amount of the seized narcotic substance, on the illegal market, could be of value of up to 300,000 (three hundred thousand) euros.
The suspect was escorted to the Police, where he was interviewed in the presence of an ex officio lawyer. After the interview, by decision of the State Prosecutor, he was detained for 48 hours.
Investigations regarding this case are continuing by the Anti-Drug Unit in Prizren in coordination with the Basic Prosecution Office in Prizren.
The Kosovo Police remains committed in fighting against narcotics and invites citizens to cooperate, by reporting any suspicious information to law enforcement agencies.
