Policia e Kosovës arreston dy të dyshuar për kontrabandim me migrantë, nga të cilët njëri udhëheqës i grupit kriminal

Policia e Kosovës më saktë Sektori i Hetimeve të Departamentit për Kufi, në bashkëpunim dhe në asistencë edhe të Agjencisë së Kosovës për Inteligjencë (AKI), pas një periudhe disa mujore monitorimi nga institucionet kompetente, më datën 23.12.2025 ka arrestuar një shtetas jordanez dhe një shtetase turke, nën dyshimin për kryerje të veprës penale “Kontrabandim me migrantë”.
Sipas të dhënave hetimore, i lartcekuri dyshohet se ka organizuar ardhjen e shtetasve të huaj, kryesisht nga shtetet e Lindjes së Mesme dhe Azia, me qëllim të hyrjes së tyre në Republikën e Kosovës, prej nga më pas dyshohet se bëhej kontrabandimi i tyre në drejtim të vendeve të Bashkimit Evropian.
Po ashtu ndaj të njëjtit egziston dyshimi se ka udhëhequr një grup të mirë organizuar kriminal, të cilët dyshohet se kanë përfituar mjete të konsiderueshme financiare nga kjo veprimtari e paligjshme.
Lidhur me rastin është realizuar kontrolli tek personi i dyshuar ku janë gjetur dhe konfiskuar gjithsej 53 (pesëdhjetë e tre) pasaporta të shtetasve jordanezë.
Për veprimet e ndërmarra është konsultuar edhe prokuroria kompetente, me vendimin e së cilës dy të dyshuarit dërgohen në ndalim për 48 orë.

The Kosovo Police, respectively the Investigation Sector of the Border Department, in cooperation and with the assistance of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (KIA), after a period of several months of monitoring by the competent institutions, on 23.12.2025 arrested a Jordanian citizen and a Turkish citizen, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “Smuggling of migrants”.
According to investigative data, the aforementioned is suspected of having organized the arrival of foreign citizens, mainly from the Middle East and Asia, with the aim of their entry into the Republic of Kosovo, from where it is suspected that they were then smuggled towards the countries of the European Union.
There is also suspicion against the same person that he led a well-organized criminal group, which is suspected of having benefited considerable financial means from this illegal activity.
Related to this case, a search was conducted on the suspect, where a total of 53 (fifty-three) passports of Jordanian citizens were found and confiscated.
The competent prosecution office was also consulted on the actions taken, and by its decision the two suspects were sent to detention for 48 hours.
