Policia e Kosovës ekstradon nga Anglia për në Kosovë të kërkuarin me urdhërarrest ndërkombëtar

Policia e Kosovës, përkatësisht Drejtoria për Bashkëpunim Ndërkombëtar Policor në koordinim dhe bashkëpunim me njësitet tjera relevante të policisë së Kosovës dhe institucionet e drejtësisë, me datë 15.01.2026 ka bërë ekstradimin e shtetasit kosovar nga Anglia për në Kosovë.
I dyshuari ishte arrestuar nga autoritetet Angleze pasi që i njëjti kërkohej me urdhërarrest ndërkombëtar, të lëshuar nga institucionet e drejtësisë së Kosovës për veprat penale “Vrasje në tentativë dhe shkaktim i rrezikut të pergjithshëm”.
Ekstradimi u realizua falë bashkëpunimit ndërmjet institucioneve të Republikës së Kosovës dhe atyre Angleze, dhe pas ekstradimit i dyshuari u është dorëzuar njësiteve përkatëse policore për vazhdim me procedurat tjera ligjore.
Policia e Kosovës, më saktë Drejtoria për Bashkëpunim Ndërkombëtar Policor, do të vazhdoj me shkëmbimin e informacioneve me institucionet vendore, shtetet dhe organizatat ndërkombëtare, me qëllim të parandalimit, hetimit dhe zbulimit të aktiviteteve kriminale që ndërlidhen me hetimin e kryesve të veprave penale, si dhe aktivitete tjera në gjurmimin, kapjen-arrestimin e personave dhe grupeve kriminale që veprojnë brenda dhe jashtë vendit.

Kosovo Police extradites wanted man with international arrest warrant from England to Kosovo
Prishtina, 15th of January 2026
The Kosovo Police, namely the Directorate for International Police Cooperation in coordination and cooperation with other relevant units of the Kosovo Police and justice institutions, on 15.01.2026, extradited the Kosovar citizen from England to Kosovo.
The suspect was arrested by the English authorities after he was wanted by an international arrest warrant, issued by the Kosovo justice institutions for the criminal offenses of “Attempted Murder and Causing General Danger”.
The extradition was carried out thanks to the cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and the English ones, and after the extradition, the suspect was handed over to the relevant police units for continuation of other legal procedures.
The Kosovo Police, more precisely the Directorate for International Police Cooperation, will continue to exchange information with local institutions, states and international organizations, with the aim of preventing, investigating and detecting criminal activities related to the investigation of perpetrators of criminal offenses, as well as other activities in tracking, capturing and arresting criminal persons and groups operating inside and outside the country.
