Arrestohet një person i dyshuar, u gjet duke kontrabanduar mallra në vlerë mbi 5 mijë euro

Policia e Kosovës, me njësitet e saj nga Policia Kufitare më datë 22.04.2026, gjatë implementimit të Planit Operativ “Gatishmëria Vepruese 2026”, pas sigurimit të informatave operative dhe përcjelljes përmes mjeteve teknike të vëzhgimit, ka arritur të identifikojë dhe ndalojë një rast të dyshuar të kontrabandimit me mallra në fshatin Hodonovc, komuna e Kamenicës.
Pas pranimit të informatave dhe vërejtjes së aktivitetit të dyshimtë në terren, njësitet patrulluese kanë reaguar menjëherë duke ndërmarrë veprime operative. Si rezultat, është ndaluar një mjet bujqësor (traktor), i cili dyshohet se kishte hyrë ilegalisht nga territori i Serbisë, në Republikën e Kosovës.
Pas përcjelljes së vazhdueshme, traktori është ndaluar në fshatin Hodonovc, ku në cilësi të të dyshuarit është intervistuar vozitësi i mjetit, personi L.H (1968).
Gjatë kontrollit të mjetit janë gjetur dhe sekuestruar mallra të dyshuara si të kontrabanduara, konkretisht pjesë për mjete bujqësore-traktorë në vlerën mbi 5 mijë euro.
Të gjitha veprimet janë ndërmarrë në koordinim dhe me urdhër të prokurorit kompetent. Rasti është duke u trajtuar dhe hetuar edhe më tej nga njësitet përkatëse të Policisë Kufitare.
Policia e Kosovës mbetet e përkushtuar në luftimin e të gjitha formave të kontrabandës dhe aktiviteteve ilegale, me qëllim të garantimit të rendit dhe ligjit, si dhe sigurisë së qytetarëve në territorin e Republikës së Kosovës.

A suspect arrested, found smuggling goods worth over 5 thousand euros

Kosovo Police, with its units from the Border Police on 22.04.2026, during the implementation of the Operational Plan “Operational Readiness 2026”, after providing operational information and monitoring through technical means of surveillance, managed to identify and stop a suspected case of smuggling of goods in the village of Hodonovc, municipality of Kamenica.
After receiving the information and noticing suspicious activity in the field, the patrol units reacted immediately by taking operational actions. As a result, an agricultural vehicle (tractor) was stopped, which is suspected of having entered illegally from the territory of Serbia, into the Republic of Kosovo.
After continuous monitoring, the tractor was stopped in the village of Hodonovc, where the driver of the vehicle, the person L.H (1968), was interviewed as a suspect.
During the search of the vehicle, suspected smuggled goods were found and seized, specifically parts for agricultural vehicles-tractors worth over 5 thousand euros.
All actions were taken in coordination and by order of the competent prosecutor. The case is being handled and investigated further by the relevant units of the Border Police.
Kosovo Police remains committed to combating all forms of smuggling and illegal activities, in order to guarantee law and order, as well as the security of citizens in the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.
