A Wanted person with international arrest warrant extradited from Kosovo to Albania

Kosovo Police, namely the Directorate for International Police Cooperation, in coordination and cooperation with other relevant units of Kosovo Police and justice institutions, on 15.12.2025, extradited a Kosovar citizen from Kosovo to Albania.
The suspect was arrested by Kosovo Police units, as he was wanted by an international arrest warrant issued by the justice institutions of Albania, on suspicion of being involved in the criminal offense of ‘involvement in a structured criminal group’. The extradition was carried out thanks to the cooperation between the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and those of Albania.
The Directorate for International Police Cooperation will continue to exchange information with local institutions, states and international organizations, in order to prevent, investigate and detect criminal activities related to the investigation of perpetrators of criminal offenses, as well as other activities in tracking, capture, arrest of persons and criminal groups operating inside and outside the country.
