Regarding the following operation, Kosovo Police, respectively the Directorate for the Investigation of Narcotics Trafficking in Pristina, on 29.08.2025, implemented the court order where the five vehicles seized in the case were searched.
During the search of the vehicles in the presence of the defense attorney, in one of the vehicles owned by the Kosovar male suspect, two bags of suspected cocaine-type narcotics with a total weight of approximately 35 grams were found.
During the police operation “Lugu”, six suspects were arrested and cocaine was confiscated
Kosovo Police, namely the Directorate for the Investigation of Narcotics Trafficking in Pristina, assisted by other security bodies, after intensive investigations conducted against six (6) Kosovar male suspects under suspicion that they were involved in the sale and purchase of narcotics in the Pristina region, has carried out the police operation “LUGU”.
On 06.08.2025 at about 12:00, by the authorization of the Basic Prosecution Office and by order of the Court in Pristina, an operational plan was implemented where searches were conducted in eight locations (houses, apartments and related facilities), where by order of the prosecutor one shop (free shop) was also closed.
The operation was supported by the Special Operations Unit, the Forensics Directorate, the K9 unit and patrol units from the Prishtina region.
As a result of this operational plan, six suspects were arrested and the following material evidence was found and seized:
1. 300 grams of suspected cocaine-type narcotic substance (the value of which is estimated to be around 18,000 euros),
2. 13,294 euros,
3. 2 DVRs,
4. 5 vehicles with local license plates and other material evidence related to the case.
The suspects were escorted for interview in the presence of defense lawyers and, by decision of the state prosecutor, were detained for 48 hours.
