DON’T BE SILENT-Stop trafficking in human beings
Within the awareness raising campaign against the trafficking in human beings “MOS HESHT-Ndal trafikimin me njerëz” (“DON’T BE SILENT-Stop trafficking in human beings) held in Kosovo, Kosovo Police, respectively the Directorate of Investigation of Trafficking in Human Beings, in cooperation with the Directorate of Community Policing and Prevention, today on 26th of October 2020, conducted and activity at the high school “Sami Frashëri” in Prishtina.
This activity intended the internal and external awareness raising in prevention and manner of referring of cases related to the criminal offense of trafficking in human beings.
This campaign was enriched by a short lecture for the pupils and they were informed related with this phenomenon, and awareness raising materials were handed over such as:
1- Card with the indicators of forced labor, beggary and sexual abuse of the victim of trafficking.
2- Information brochures for pupils on knowing the forms of criminal offense of THB and referring to the cases.
3- Protective masks against the COVID-19 with the moto “MOS HESHT- Ndal trafikimin me njerëz” (“DON’T BE SILENT-Stop trafficking in human beings).
During the whole time while the activity was going on, the recommendations from KNIPH on protection from COVID-19.
