Prishtinë, 26th of July 2019

Kosovo Police, in cooperation with the Kosovo Customs, during the implementation of regular tasks in the Border Crossing Point in Vermica on 25.07.2019 have taken a vehicles with foreign plates for a detailed control (in the second line).

While searching the vehicle in a modified part in interior, there has been found a substance suspected to be Hashish and marijuana. The narcotics of hashish type was found in the amount of 24 (twenty four) packages with the weight of 25 (twenty five) kg, while the substance of marijuana type was in 29 (twenty nine) packages with the weight of 29 (twenty nine) kg. 

The police investigators of the Directorate for Investigation of Trafficking in Narcotics, have interviewed the suspect and as material evidence they have seized the substances suspected to be narcotics.

Regarding the case, there has been arrested the suspect:

• A. K. born on 1996 m/a/a 

By the ruling of the Prosecutor, the suspect was taken on detention.
