Kosovo Police arrests a suspect, wanted by international arrest warrant

The Kosovo Police, specifically the Directorate for International Police Cooperation ILECU, has arrested a suspect, wanted by international arrest warrant.
On 16.02.2026, police officers from the Directorate for International Police Cooperation, in cooperation and coordination with other units of the Kosovo Police, have arrested a citizen of Kosovo, who was wanted through INTERPOL by an international arrest warrant, issued by the Federal Republic of Germany for the criminal offenses of ‘serious injury resulting in death’ and ‘vandalism’.
By the order of the Prosecutor on duty, the arrested person is sent to police detention for 48 hours, to continue with other legal procedures.
