Kosovo Police, respectively the unit of Controlling Highways, with the aim to prevent accidents in the Highway ‘Arbër Xhaferi’, drafted and implemented an operational plan.

Several participants in traffic, in the highway ‘Arbër Xhaferi’, respectively at the bridge over the river Lepenc, for curiosity and because of beauties of the bridge stopped with their vehicles at the emergency lane and get off their vehicles where in many cases make photos even in groups and the endanger themselves and other traffic accidents.
Police with the aim to increase safety at the highway, for three weeks imposed in total 33 tickets in this location:

28 tickets against drivers for stopping at the highway,

5 tickets for pedestrians moving at the highway.

Kosovo Police calls and requires from citizens in general as well as drivers in particular, respecting road traffic rules, and not violating rules at the highway because they endanger their life and other’s lives. Police shall punish all those who make such offences.
