Directorate of Investigation of Organized Crime, respectively the Section of Investigation of Cyber Crimes, in full cooperation with the state prosecutor from the economic-financial Unit in the Basic Prosecution in Prishtina, after intensive investigations for a long time, regarding the criminal acts of a group, that in continuity dealt with committing criminal offences, from the articles 307 and 339 of KPRK, hacking computer systems, cloning and misuse of bank cards, successfully implemented a wide police operation. 

Based on the order of the competent court, on 16.03.2016 in the region of Prishtina, Gjilan and Feriza, (in seven locations), the police operation has been conducted, and it resulted with the arrest of seven (7) suspects. 

As a continuity of this police operation there have been controlled houses and locations where this illegal activity has been conducted. 

The following suspects have been arrested during this operation:

• R. D. born on 1998 kosovar/Albanian 

• F. XH. born on 1996 kosovar/Albanian 

• E. A. born on 1991 kosovar/Albanian 

• SH. J. born on 1987 kosovar/Albanian  

• SH. J. born on 1990 kosovar/Albanian  

• O. Z. born on 1995 kosovar/Albanian  

• V. H. born on 1981 kosovar/Albanian 

While as material evidences there have been seized:

• 1 equipment for cloning bank cards

• 27 bank cards, suspected to have been falsified

• 6 computers

• 11 mob phones

• 9 lap top

• 1 IPAD

• 7 USB

• 1 DVR

• 4 weapons of various calibers

• 37 bullets

• 4 hard disks

• 8220 euro cash-suspected to have been gained from the abovementioned offences.

The suspects, with the order of the prosecutor are detained for 48 hours, for further legal proceedings.
