Following the planning, coordination of activities and joint police investigations by investigators from the Prishtina, Ferizaj and Gjilan Region, a criminal group of suspects who committed aggravated thefts in different regions of Kosovo were identified.

This criminal group has committed thefts in different locations / objects and in order to carry out the thefts they have used various vehicles and strong tools to open the premises by force, where the target were mainly the theft of valuable items such as: cash, electronic devices, weapons, cigarettes in stores, and various and other items.

By the order of the competent court in Ferizaj, covert measures have been applied to the suspects, who have been under investigation and police surveillance, who are suspected for being involved in dozens of criminal offenses of thefts and aggravated thefts committed in different regions, where three (3) suspects were arrested.

following the police investigations, after committing the theft in a bar in Prishtina, today, it was realized the operational plan for hitting and arresting the suspects, where in the parking lot of a residential building at the street “C” in Prishtina, the suspect (RA ) was arrested, while the other suspects involved in the theft, despite being given clear restraining orders, started to flee using a ‘Golf 5’ vehicle

During the escape, the suspects crashed and endangered the life of a police officer by a car, and with the order of the prosecutor, the case “Attempted Murder” was initiated, while during the escape, the suspects left the car on the street. The car was seized along with some evidences found inside the vehicle which are suspected to be stolen items.

Following the investigative actions, in order to arrest the suspects and provide evidences in consultation with the state prosecutor and by order of the competent court, investigations have continued where four raids were carried out in different locations in Pristina, which resulted in the arrest also two (2) other suspects (A. Sh.) and (QK).

As material evidences there were seized: 58 graphics cards, cash, running shoes, as well as some electronic devices and valuable items which are suspected to have been stolen.

The investigative group is in the process of collecting and analyzing evidences related to the offences suspected of being committed by this criminal group as well as is working intensively towards the identification and arrest of other potential suspects.
