On 09.05.2021 at around 16:12h in the Carraleva village, Shtime a traffic accident happened involving civilian passenger vehicle and two pedestrians (children, born in 2013).
The accident is suspected to have occurred, when the passenger vehicle was moving on the road Shtime – Prizren and upon arrival in the village of Carralevë, due to improper adaption to the speed and road conditions, at a turn, the vehicle loses control and passes in the opposite lane of movement and hits two pedestrians on the sidewalk.

As a result of this traffic accident, initially the two pedestrians received serious bodily injuries, who after receiving first aid at the MFCC-Shtime, they were sent to the UCCK-Pristina for further medical treatment. Subsequently, both pedestrians could not survive serious bodily injuries and died at the UCCK-Pristina.

By decision of the Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution in Ferizaj, the driver of the vehicle, V.M (M / SH / K) was detained for 48 hours.
The regional road traffic unit of the regional police directorate in Ferizaj, has taken all necessary measures in relation to this case.
