On 15.10.2020, the Directorate of Investigation of Serious Crimes (DISC) of Kosovo Police in Prishtina received the information regarding some suspects that through the social network FACEBOOK and “Messenger”, are forcing the victim m/k to give an amount of money of (25 000 Euro) twenty-five thousand Euro, otherwise they would publish several photos which would affect his image and the image of his family, as well as they threatened the victim continuously that “if he does not give the money they would damage him and his family”.

In this case it is suspected that they with the aim of material benefiting they committed the criminal offence “Blackmail” pursuant to the article 329 of KPK and Threat from the article 181 of the criminal code of the Republic of Kosovo.

The Directorate of Investigation of Serious Crimes in Prishtina under the authorization of the Basic Prosecution Office in Mitrovica, conducted investigations in this case and on 24.11.2020 at about 17:25 in Lipjan arrested the suspects:

1. B.SH.,(born on 1997) Lipjan, and
2. F. S., (born on 1996-Mitrovica) Lipjan.

The suspects were seized three mobile phones, two IPHONE and one SAMSUNG as well as one USB as material evidences.

After contacting the prosecutor on duty in Mitrovica, the suspects were taken to 48 hours custody for further legal proceedings.
