Mitrovicë, Skenderaj, 13 December 2017 

On 13.12.2017, Kosovo Police in Mitrovicë and Skenderaj, responded to the information about two suspects to possess weapons.

The first is the information received by the section of regional investigations RPD in Mitrovicë from the border crossing point in Vërmicë, that the person D. H. 42 years-old is suspected to possess weapons in his house, where after receiving the information, with the order of the state prosecutor, Police searched the suspects house in the village Vinarc, where during the control there has been found a hunting gun, a Carabine, cartridge of various calibers and a knife, 94 cartridges of caliber 7.62, 24 cartridges for a hunting gun which have been seized by Police as material evidences.

 In the second case there is the information received by a citizen in the police station in Skenderaj, that a person possesses a revolver in his waste, Police managed to identify the person A. G., 33 years-old, where during the control there has been found and seized the weapon.

Police seized the following as material evidences: a piston of the type CZ, model 75, a magazine, 11 cartridges of the cal. 9x19mm as well as blank cartridges of cal. 9mm.

The suspect A. G. 33 years-old has been arrested and after the interview, with the order of the State Prosecutor he has been released in a regular procedure.

Both cases are being investigated about the criminal offence “unauthorized ownership, use, control or possession of weapons”.
