Prishtinë, 24 November 2014 – Last night, at about 22:45, police received an information that in the street “Rexhep Kabashi” in Prishtinë, there were firearm shootings. 

After receiving this information, immediately at the scene have arrived the necessary police units, supported by the Regional Investigation Unit of Crimes as well as other units for examination of the scene.

Upon arriving at the scene, police ascertained that this case had to do with an attempted murder where from the firearm shootings was injured the victim:

o L. Sh, male, 28 years old, citizen of the Republic of Kosovo, who immediately was sent to QKUK for medical treatment.

Police with an increased intensity has undertaken a series of operational investigative actions, attempting to solve and clarify all the circumstances dealing with the case, by identifying and arresting one suspect.

Regarding the case in question, the police teams have seized for further examination:

• One pistol of Ekol special 99 (cal. 9mm) as well as 

• One magazine with three cartridges.

The suspect was sent to detention by the order of the State prosecutor for the completion of necessary police procedures.
